In doing so, they left behind opportunities we normally take for granted—career, financial stability, retirement.

They instead put the advancement of the cause of Christ ahead of personal gain, oftentimes at great personal sacrifice.

Now, as these missionaries approach their retirement years, many are no longer physically able to be ministers of the Gospel. Further, many are facing physical and medical difficulties which their financial resources do not adequately allow them to cover.

They need our help.

That is why the Foundation for Retired Missionaries was established—to help retired and aging missionaries in financial need.

We applaud them for their faithful sacrifice and believe it is important to assist them financially so their basic physical and medical needs can be met.
