Henry and Nemi Paasonen

After serving in a stateside church pastorate and also in communications ministries at mission headquarters, Henry and Nemi Paasonen served for over twenty years with The Christian and Missionary Alliance on mission fields in Europe.

They were engaged in evangelism, church planting and leadership training in Paris and Strasbourg, France, and also in Berlin, Germany. They saw the Lord give birth to several churches during those years, draw many people to the Savior, and call young people to Bible school and seminary studies. A number of them are now in the pastorate and in overseas missions. They praise the Lord most especially for the way He has so powerfully used hundreds of men and women in home churches to "pray through" with them.

Today, Henry and Nemi are grateful that -- even in their 70's – they can continue to be available for pulpit ministries on the mission field and for local church ministries in Kentucky, where they now live.

While they no longer have the financial support of a mission, church or agency, they continue to step out in faith. As the Lord enables, occasional visits and Internet ministries are set for gospel outreach in France, in response to invitations from churches there.

Henry and Nemi speak fluently both French and German. They have two children, both of them active in church – a married son, John, in London, England; and a married daughter, Sarah, in Lexington, Kentucky.
